Aurally Sound releases Song Master Pro v2.0, a versatile transcription application that makes it easier and more efficient to transcribe your favorite songs with analysis tools that allow you to learn and practice directly from recordings.

Song Master Pro analyzes any recorded song and provides a hierarchical breakdown of the song. The song is split into relevant parts (such as intro, verse, chorus), with advanced algorithms for harmony analysis to generate chords, beat analysis to split the song into bars and beats, and also identifies the key and time signature. You can easily modify the results according to your needs.

Source separation can be used to generate separate stem tracks for vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, and all remaining sources. Using its mixer, you can selectively set the volume and pan of vocals, drums, bass, piano, and other parts to create your own custom mix. This feature is particularly useful when you want to mute the recorded part and then practice playing with the rest of the band.

Each stem track (except drums) can also be converted to midi-notes to assist in the transcription process.

In addition, Song Master includes a host of tools to make song learning easier and practice more efficient. You can slow down songs, adjust pitch, loop sections quickly and easily, enable more advanced looping features, and more.

Determine chord progressions (Song Master has a large vocabulary of chords and will provide important bass beats when they differ from the root of the chord).

Determine the position of bar lines.

Calculate BPM and display the BPM at the current point in the song.

Slow down (or speed up) audio without changing the pitch.
Change the pitch by selecting the appropriate transposed chord; the Auto Pitch button automatically adjusts recorded music to A440Hz, so you don't have to adjust your instrument to match the recording.
Advanced looping allows you to set the number of loops, speed them up, and automatically advance the loop when finished.
A metronome that syncs with the song and can be used independently.
Synchronized lyrics can be downloaded and entered manually.
